At the beginning of the school year my technology innovation professor encouraged all of her classes to attend the Victoria Ed Camp 2016. I went not knowing quite what to expect, as it is an inquiry based education camp. Attendees list what they are interested in learning, the votes are tallied up and the topics most requested are posted on a board. You then pick which session you wish to attend based on your own interests. I attended Career Education, Early Literacy with Tech, and Place Based Learning. All the sessions I attended were highly valuable. Not only do you learn A LOT, but you also have the opportunity to network with other teachers and administrators. If you want to check out the notes for Ed Camp 2016 click on the link and you will be directed to their website with all the google docs we created during our sessions.

Ed Camp is a great resource for teachers to tap into knowledge from other teachers and to share your own knowledge with others.
