Voice Thread is a cloud based tech tool that can be used in the classroom or at home. It allows students to use audio and visual aids to present material and document learning. I was privileged to be able to view some student-created projects on residential schools and it proved to be a very valuable tool. Students that had a difficult time expressing themselves through writing were able to use audio to say what they couldn’t say using the written word. This can be very empowering to students, by giving them a voice and allowing them to communicate in a way they can.
